Kongressin järjestäminen on aina iso asia, varsinkin jos sellaista
ei ole ennen tehnyt. Ammattimainen kongressiorganisaatio helpottaa paljon elämää -
niin kongressin suunnitteluvaiheessa kuin varsinkin kongressin ollessa päällä.
Yhteistyömme Jyväskylä Congresses-organisaation kanssa sujui hienosti, mikä näkyi
monissa kiittävissä arvioinneissa.
Onnistuneen kongressin takana on aina iso palapeli, ja palojen kohdalleen
laittoa - ja löytymistä - helpottaa ammattimainen kongressin järjestäjä.

Organizing a congress is always a huge task, especially if one has not done it before.
Professional congress organization makes life much easier - both in the planning
phase and especially during the congress. Our co-operation with the Jyväskylä
Congresses-PCO office managed fine, which could be seen in many praising appraisals.
Paul Cheshire, for instance, the Vice President of the European Regional
Science Association (ERSA) writes:
"--- the Congress was probably the best organized & smoothest running I have been
to - and I have been going since 1984! ... the local team seemed to be always
friendly and never flustered as well as knowing what they are doing. A really
successful congress and it is clear that that does not happen by chance. It
involves a great deal of hard work and team spirit."
There is always a complicated jig saw behind a congress , and it really makes a
difference to have a PCO as your partner when putting together all the elements for the event.
